A little about me...
Welcome to Finite Probability, where I create games and projects! I'm Austin Friedrich, the force behind this ambition, and I'm excited to share a bit about myself with you.
A Gamer's Heart:
At the core of who I am lies a deep love for video games. From the nostalgic classics that shaped my childhood like Quake, Doom, Warcraft and Swotor to the titles of today Cyperpunk, Mechwarrior and Xcom. Gaming has allowed me expression where I felt I had none.
Coding Enthusiast:
My Father was a programmer, and for a long time I wanted nothing to do with it. But as the years went on, I found the same passion for programming as my father did. The art of programming allows me to bring ideas to life, solve problems, and contribute in some small way technology and the advance of humankind.
On the Open Road:
Getting away from the computer is an important part of the development process, I found some solace in riding motorcycles to relive stress and bring some excitement to my life.
Crafting Miniature Worlds:
I find solace and creativity in painting little miniatures. Bringing tiny figurines to life with intricate details and vibrant colors is a form of artistic expression that complements the structured world of programming and the dynamic nature of gaming.
Service Before Self:
During my time at college, I served as a 25B Support Specialist in the National Guard. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was called to duty to assist with the care of sick patients. I’ve left this part of my life behind me now, but the military played a part in who I am.
Why Finite Probability:
Finite Probability is more than just a company name; it embodies the belief that within the finite bounds of life, there's an infinite array of possibilities waiting to be explored. Through this platform, I aim to share my passions, insights, and creations, connecting with people that share the same energy for life and endless possibilities.
Thank you for being a part of this adventure!
